Coordinated Program in Dietetics
The Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CP) at the
University of Missouri-Columbia has a rich tradition. Established in 1972,
it is the only coordinated program in Missouri and is among the oldest
accredited coordinated programs in the United States. The CP provides the
educational requirements necessary for eligibility to take the national
Registration Examination for Dietitians (RD exam). The five-year pass rate
for first time test takers is 96%. Courses to meet general
education requirements and program prerequisites comprise the first two
years of study for dietetics majors. The last two years, including one
summer, are devoted to professional courses and supervised practice.
